Helicopter Pilot Training
Private Pilot Helicopter (PPL-H) -
Course Duration: 5-weeks - Although FAA
regulations require only 40-hours, few if any students can accomplish the rating
in that amount of time. Most can however accomplish the rating in 50-55 hours.
This program is based on 55-flight hours.
Students accomplishing their helicopter flight training and achieving their rating
in less hours will have their accounts credited accordingly. NOTE: An
individual with a private airplane rating may add-on a commercial helicopter
rating in most cases for the same price as a private add-on; inquire for more
details. Tennessee flight training is the way to go! It is not necessary to
learn to fly airplanes before you learn to fly helicopters.
